Job Summary:
Coast Sign has a reputation for having a world class In-house project management team. Our project managers are responsible for daily management, coordination, and execution of successful projects for globally recognized brands in various industries. The project Manger determines the project scope, the right tools, techniques, cost estimation, scheduling, bidding and contract administration process to complete a project on budget and on schedule.
The senior project manager:
- Has extensive experience in standard permitting as well as handling Architectural Review Board meetings (ARBs), Planned Use Development (PUDs)
- Understands how to follow up with the city committees to develop sign codes and obtain applicable permits.
- Apply risk mitigations and provide a comprehensive study of code compliance.
Primary Duties:
- Project scope development and planning of construction.
- Plans and secure resources for successful completion.
- Initiate site surveys, code research and cost estimation.
- Obtain bids from subcontractors and suppliers with risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with design and engineering department.
- Must have excellent customer centric attitude for customer approvals and collaboration.
- Amending signage guidelines for different municipalities and codes.
- Secure permits and meet customer’s timeline.
- Final inspections with city inspectors.
- Issue purchase order agreements and close-out checklist.
Collaborating with the Manufacturing Department:
- Closely and daily monitoring manufacturing and the delivery of materials in accordance with contract requirements and quality.
- Development of daily and monthly reports.
- Collaborating with the estimating department and the preparation of the cost analysis worksheet.
- Collaborating with the senior management and have the knowledge of project plans.
- Working knowledge of engineering drawings and submittals.
- Maintain leadership and awareness during the project completion.
- Coordinate with Installers and occasionally travel to installation sites.
- Supervise the final inspections with the city inspector.
Job Specifications:
Minimum of a 4-year degree or 5 years of experience in signage project management or construction, engineering/ architecture.
Experience preferred:
Ability to work with estimating, cost control, rapid paced manufacturing, excellent customer centric skills, ability to read blueprints and site plans, experience working with engineering.
Computer Skills – Proficient in MS Office Suite, with Excel or Access experience.
